Commercial stock images are used in advertisements, promotions, and anything that would endorse a product or service. Editorial stock depicts some newsworthy subject. Unlike commercial images, editorial images may contain recognizable people without model releases, and trademarked designs such as logos, vehicles and buildings.

Usually. Many of our customers are commercial image buyers who are unlikely to download editorial images. Editorial images may be used by newspapers, magazines, TV, and other news organizations that arent endorsing a product or service."
