Before closing my account I pulled all RM images of Alamy and added them to the micro and they made me far more than on Alamy.

Alamy is good for new contributors as you start with normal ranking. As soon as you hit the first re-rank and your images didnt deliver you end up at the end of the search and good luck to you to recover from that.

Really?

Where can I read more about reranking?

Thanks for the info everyone. So i guess all the RF will have to be uploaded to Alamy as RF and all else (RM/editorial) will need to exclusive

But again is the RF price at Alamy same as the RF prices on SS, DT etc? Otherwise why would you buy an image at a more expensive rate from Alamy when the same is available at SS for subs price

You can see the 'rack rate' on Alamy; but many buyers have huge discounts.

If all you want is an occasional nugget (decent sale) then yes. But a lot of weeks/months can go by without anything or anything significant.  I do still upload there but not as a priority. It's a "have some coffee while I administer approved images" kind of thing.

They might not.  But not all buyers check multiple agencies, plus the standard Alamy RF license is more like an EL license on the micros so depending on the purpose the cost might be similar.
