I have about 400 video clip waiting for review at 123RF, uploaded probably in two and a half months.
My question is: do I get a prize when I reach 1,000?

I stopped uploading to them. It is seriously no fun to wait several months to get video accepted.

I would not mind the wait for review if they actually would get some sales.
But certainly if they are not able to review clips within 3 months, I wonder how can they make sales

Yes, if they would get sales I would accept months of waiting. But sales have dried up for me.

123RF hardly review or sell any videos. That's not the place to put your videos.

Do you mean they are more interested in still images and don't care much about video?

I'll wait a month for reviewing my pictures, but nothing happens. I stop the Upload.

I always wait about 2-3 weeks for images, then tell them on live chat. After that, it takes 2-3 days.

Everytime  i loose patience, i send the same email.
Few days after, i recceive the same answer ('lot of images to review...bla bla...sorry...bla bla')
Generally few hours after, all images are accepted.

After my images had been hanging around for a couple of weeks I send them an e mail. I got an answer after 1 week again and then 1 week later they finally reviewed my pics.

From an acceptance rate from well over 90% I dropped to about 60% (!)  :-\  acceptance, the lowest acceptance rate from all agencies I submit to included SS FT DT Alamy (100%)

I find this a bit strange and alarming. The given reasons are all the same and nonsense. I can't see any dramatic changes in my photos which justify such a dramatic decrease in accepting them and also comparing to other agencies.

Anyone else?

The last year more than 95% of my photos was accepted and I have not noticed this has changed.
But 198 pictures of me are now still waiting for review by 123RF. The oldest photos of them are from September 15, which is more than five weeks ago now. It's a shame that a stock photo agency handles their contributors in this way.
I often sent an email message but the answer is always the same and no measures are taken to improve the handling.

Franzi, no chance.
Few months ago it worked.
Now will you receive automated response and that is it.
No support anymore,
sales lower than ever,
review time longer than ever.

Another DEJA VU scenario...

For me was 123 realy good earner.

It worked!  :D
I received the standard apology ("high traffic uploads"), and 2 days later 91 of my 96 files got reviewed and approved. 5 are still pending. I don't get why they didn't manage to review those 5 illustrations as well...

Same here. I uploaded 20 videos in May, completely forgot about them. Noticed a week or two ago, so sent them an email. Got the old 'lots of submissions, it's normal, we'll get someone to look into it' response,  and then they were all approved in a couple of days.

If this hasn't been mentioned: the wait for photos isn't much better.  >:(

I'm not going to upload anything else to them at the moment. I contacted them about a batch of 30 photos after a few weeks wait. It took a day or two to get the "we're busy" answer. Then two were inspected right away and it was nearly a week before the other 28 were. I was very surprised at the level of oddball rejections too.

After years of pretty reliable performance, the last two months have been really awful for sales - 50% drop from the same month a year earlier type awful. I uploaded batches of remodeling pictures earlier this year that SS also got. They're selling at SS and nothing much at 123rf.

I wonder if this CEO change has anything to do with it?

Jo Ann just wait a while. They held 80 of my pictures for over a month, then when I upload 70 more, after a few days they approved everything.

Photographers FAQ 123RF

How long will the review process take?

Your images should be approved within 3 working days after submission on an average basis. Kindly note that it might take up to 5 working days during peak seasons. Please check your pending images folder and make sure that your images have their proper Description and Keywords. We will not review images without a description and/or keywords. If your images which are complete still continue to remain pending after 3 working days, please send us an email: [email protected] and we'll check your account.

As I had the same experience I wrote them a long e mail explaining my concerns and asking for some explanation. After some days I got a very polite reply apologizing and asking to give the IDs of rejected images to look into that. They stated as well that reviews are taking 5 working days now.

Well I am waiting for what is coming out but meanwhile I stopped uploading as well.

I have 60 images and 16 videos waiting for review from September 22. Two days ago 1(ONE) of 60 was reviewed and I was hoping for followup but nothing happened.
Anyone knows how long is the waiting time these days.
Will I get them reviewed this year?
