How 123RF trained their AI tools? They need millions of files to train their AI tools?
If they used contributors files to train their tools, anyone received any amount for using files to train their AI?

I have illustrations that uploaded 5 months back still under review. They don't care about contributors, only focusing on their AI tools.

Anyone getting video sales from there. I am thinking to delete 2000+ videos from there.

I don't know but considering what they offer, did they use any of the images from uploads or are all from other resources and AI generators?

"Bringing our total to 11 advanced AI models, including favorites like SDXL, Eimis Anime, Dreamshaper, DynaVisionXL, Juggernaut XL, Realism Engine, and DALLE 3." Open Journey, TurboVisionXL, RealVisXL 4.0, and Portrait Plus.

If they only have the 123RF collection, the ability to create images, would be limited.

They DO NOT pay for using your files for AI.  Contributors had to agree to new terms late last year. The terms were essentially 'we are going to use your content to train AI and you have no choice other than to leave the platform'.  So I left.  I made about $3 a month with 6K images and videos. I wasn't about to not make any money and ALSO allow them to exploit my content, so I left. In fact, I manually deleted all of my images and videos before closing my account.  I had some email exchanges with a rather rude and arrogant individual there, so I didn't trust them to "delete my images", so I did it myself.

Scum bag agency.

My main point was, they don't train THEIR AI, they didn't train their AI models. They license that feature, from others.

However, your conclusion, I'd agree, especially if they sell data to someone else and don't pay contributors.

I wouldn't know, I gave up on 123RF many years ago. They seem to work in the shadows and the fringe.

Today in the AI/ML statistics column there is a lot of money for videos. So I am glad that my video is on this stock.

Yes. I deleted all my videos and illustrations yesterday.

FYI:  I deleted all my videos at 123rf weeks ago.. but they are still selling them.  My email to support has gone unanswered.  Best double check to see if they actually delete them.

Thanks for the information. I noticed my files are still there for sale.

is there any solution if they don't remove files and don't answer to mails?

I'm not a lawyer, I don't work for 123RF.  :)

Term: This Agreement is effective until terminated. 123RF may terminate this Agreement, suspend your account or remove any Accepted Content at any time and without notice to you. You may terminate this Agreement at any time by giving thirty (30) days prior written notice to us.

Survival Rights: Termination will not affect the validity of any licensed Content prior to the termination. Such licenses granted prior to termination will continue in full force and effect according to their terms. Section 2 (Grant of Rights), Section 4 (Releases), Section 8 (Fraudulent Downloads & Violations), Section 10 (Right to Control Claims) and Section 11(a) (Indemnity by You) shall survive termination of this Agreement.

Effect of Termination: Within a reasonable time after termination of this Agreement, 123RF shall delete all digital files representing the Accepted Content and withdraw the availability of such files for search and licensing from all Distributors databases and repositories.

Post-Termination / Content Removal Licensing. Notwithstanding Clause 13(d) above, 123RF may retain digital files of the Content in its back-up media up to ninety (90) days after termination or removal of the Content by You. 123RF reserves the right to pursue and close previously quoted transactions prior to the termination and conclude the sale before the next payout date. All Commissions due to You as a result of the sale after the termination shall be paid out in full.

Seems to me, they could take at least 30 days and then their escape clause is, plus a reasonable time.

Did you notify them or just deleted content?

Good Luck.

I mailed them after noticing my videos on the website even after deleting files.
But, I mailed them several times before regarding reviewing of files, sales, Dataset earnings... But I didn't received any response to any of those mails.

DO you think they care and respond to mails? o

I dropped 123RF many years ago, and I don't know why so many people have put up with that agency, which has always been inconsistent and unreliable. Answer emails? Why should they, that would be considerate and professional.

As for me, 123 is a normal stock, but the income on it is not big. Yes, you have to wait a long time for a response from support, but this stock is not highly profitable.

wait for longer time? how much long? for 5 months? or even more?

First mail I sent them on 28th June 2024. I don't received any response for that and also other mails that I sent later.

In the first half of 2024, I received a response to letters within 1-2 months. To what address did you send your questions?
Well, depending on what questions, if you want to delete an account, then maybe they don't like to answer such letters.

For anyone that has deleted their content in the past but forgot about files stuck in the queue, it might be a good idea to periodically check to see if they did a sweep of their system and approved your files. Like they did with mine, which I also swiftly deleted.

Can't wait for them to bite the dust.

They've done nothing to push sales, they're only pushing their AI tools. Let them go bust.
