Yes you can still do that. When on the my fave images page, make sure you click "My Fave Images" and not the "My Images" to remove favourite images, then go back to "my images" to add new ones.

Thanks for the tip about faved. I've never noticed that before. I always get lost in the messy menus on 123rf.

My advice is to choose images that don't already have million of copies all around internet. For example, don't put images with business people in faved. If you choose the images correctly, it's almost guaranteed that they will show up on the first page of the results.
